The TDS Recon line of computers are powerful, lightweight, extremely rugged handhelds that are easy to manage. Boasting a bright sunlight-readable screene, MIL-STD-810F standards and impervious to dust and water immersion, the Recon is the ultimate field handheld!
The Recon runs Windows Mobile 6 OS and can be configured with Bluetooth and 802.11g WiFi communication. All models have two CompactFlash slots for expansion, including GPS, GPRS, digital cameras, and bar code scanners. All Recons also have standard USB and RS-232 (Serial) ports. Please note that the USB port is only for connecting the Recon to a personal computer, not for connecting USB devices to the Recon. To connect USB devices, you will need a Nomad. |
